Larry Huges Rock Star.  Beautiful buzzer beater, and beautiful fourth quarter by Rose.  Finally we have someone who doesn’t make us look lost on offense in clutch situations with D Rose.  And Hughes, true to his word, is playing a lot better with more minutes.  Only frustrating part of the 4th quarter was the constant easy buckets we gave up, and how many times they got an offensive board, especially on that key play in the Jazz’ last score of the game.  The other thing that bothers me about this team is that notice when Hughes drained that bucket, the only players with emotion were Rose, Noah, and Gray.  Then there was Gordon clapping and standing around.  We need some more team unity and some more excitement.  If this were the Celtics, they would be going nuts.  Or the Cavs, or a handful of other good teams.  I guess at the end of the day, a win is a win, and take it.  But lets get excited!

The Bulls fought hard, but really they had no answer for Gasol.   Hopefully a lot of the bigs around the league will not be able to do this to us, or else the Lakers may have just opened up the telescope into the best way to beat these baby bulls: Pound it inside with the big man.  Gasol scored 18 points in the first quarter alone. 

The Bulls did show some resilience however, against the league’s best team, and brought it to within 10.   However, as predicted the defense was not there to hold off the Lakers, and we have another 100 point scoring night with a loss.  Back to back game against Portland tonight.  Thomas vs. Aldridge.  Still hurts sometimes.
