Mavs pull a fast one

The more I watch, the less I see this team being able to survive in the playoffs.

One positive point is that each time the Bulls lose, they seem to be shooting under 40% from the field.  Last night they shot 34%, and only lost by 5 points.  I know, I’m always looking for the silver lining.  But its true. I mean, as Skiles hinted, professional players who are shooters have to be able to knock down an open, uncontested, 12-20 foot shot about 80% of the time.

Sam Smith wants Gasol.  I don’t blame him. But I want Gray.  Get him some minutes, the one man who could maybe give us some points in the paint.  I also want to see Ben Wallace dunking more instead of missing little layups and dinkers around the hoop. Frustration.  And the schedule doesn’t get much easier.

Bulls just are sucking it up plain and simple. They cannot beat any better than average team.

Next time trade for Kobe. The Bulls would have had a chance to win a game or two.

“Survive in the playoffs?” Hell at this rate I’m actually really concerned that the Bulls won’t even make the playoffs.

CousinSP @ 10:36 pm:

we’re a long way from worrying about the playoffs, mike. i think that .500 is a reasonable goal for the first half.

tough to imagine the playoffs without the Bulls. They will make it.
